Mohammed Bin Rashid City is being developed in phases, the first of which is the master-planned community known as Dubai Hills Estate. It is the outcome of a partnership between Meraas Holding and master developer Emaar. Dubai Hills Estate, situated in a prime location, is close to Downtown Dubai and is situated between Emirates Road & Al Khail Road. The 2,700-acre (nearly 11 million square meters) master mixed-use lifestyle development was built with sustainability in mind.

The project is made up of various types of properties, including villas, townhouses, apartments, and residential plots. There are five different types of luxury villas in this development: Classic, Contemporary, Mediterranean, Contemporary Arabesque, and Modern. The most recent project is Address Hillcrest Villas in Dubai Hills estate community. The region will include beautiful, lush landscaping and an exclusive, 18-hole golf course. This development will receive a new line from the Dubai metro and the Etihad Rail, linking it to the rest of Dubai & providing easy transit alternatives.

It is hailed as a brand-new tourist hotspot and is planned to house the Mall of the world. Which will be the largest mall in the entire world. Several art galleries and the largest swimming pool in the world are also purportedly planned for it.
